MOST VALUABLE CARD SETS

It's true: They'll be worth something someday. But how much? Judging by the 10 most valuable entertainment-card sets of all time (prices are from Non-Sport Update, a card-fan magazine), oddities make the best investments: 1. FLASH GORDON (mid-1960s) $2,400 a set These test-market-only cards (below) featured photos from the Buster Crabbe serials of the '30s and '40s.

2. STAR TREK (1967) $1,500 a set This set was released soon after Trek's premiere, but a lawsuit over the license forced the cards' removal from the market.

3. HEE HAW (1970) $1,375 a set Another test-market set, these color cards of photos from the show are sought by hard-core Hee Haw fans everywhere.

4. BOBBY SHERMAN ''Getting Together'' (1971) $1,250 a set Sherman's star rose and fell before Topps could release these cards nationally.

5. THE THREE STOOGES (1959) $1,000 a set This color set ranks as one of the most collectible Three Stooges products on the market.

6. HOGAN'S HEROES (1965) $750 a set The value of these cards today is as much of a surprise as the popularity of the show was in the first place.

7. THE MUNSTERS (1964) $550 a set The black-and-white stills on these cards capture the cult-classic show in all its gleefully vulgar idiocy.

8. GILLIGAN'S ISLAND (1965) $480 a set You can make a little flip-book by arranging the num-bered cards in order.

9. THE BRADY BUNCH (1971) $425 a set Since Barry Williams' Growing Up Brady book, everything's coming up Brady in collectibles.

10. THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES (1963) $420 a set The 34th-richest man in the world, Jed Clampett, has the 10th-most-valuable entertainment- card set.
