A congressman's adopted daughter turns out to be antisocial hellspawn in Omen IV: The Awakening, the third sequel to the 1976 horror classic. Besides Michael Lerner's wild crane-assisted demise and a chilling snake attack, there's not much bite to this puny shocker whose ''background'' music quashes the cast of ciphers in nearly every scene. C-
