Slugs trail slime around Peter Gabriel's prone body in the video for Digging in the Dirt. This gross-out is not a Martha Stewart gardening tip but a ''Sledgehammer''-style animated exercise in exorcising childhood traumas. Even if you don't get all the deep stuff, the video's hypercolored graphics and vegetation metamorphoses are pretty amazing to watch. A
