If the notion of a Saudi Arabian feminist seems oxymoronic, this life story shows what Saudi men are doing to keep it that way. Jean P. Sasson (The Rape of Kuwait) describes the life of a member of the royal family who offers her chilling story, pseudonymously, as a plea for help. The princess tells of female circumcisions, pubescent girls married off to middle-aged men, and rape victims stoned to death, while Saudi men buy wives and sell daughters like cattle.
