The Color of Fashion (1992)

Lona Benney, Fran Black, and Marisa Bulzone's The Color of Fashion is a somewhat wifty concept — more than a hundred fashion photographers were cut loose from the trends of the moment and asked to interpret the role color plays in fashion. The chapters, arranged by color, contain a few surprising models, like Spanish movie director Pedro Almódovar and female impersonator Lypsinka, some sappy prose, and a great many stunning tableaux. B+
