Lead Performance: Vanessa Paradis; Genre: Pop
--
The breathy, helium vocals of the teenage European pop starlet Vanessa Paradis neatly provide a foil for the vintage '60s sounds of producer-songwriter Lenny Kravitz. Vanessa Paradis is pleasant fluff, but with a piquant sense of déjà vu. B
