It has been 37 years since she debuted with 1955's lusty ''Roll With Me, Henry,'' and on The Right Time, a consistent collection of R&B boilers and soul smokers, the remarkable Etta James sounds as hungry as ever. ''When I want it hard enough, you'll be my man,'' she bluntly states on ''I Sing the Blues'' — and you better bet that young guitar-and-organ stud Lucky Peterson delivers Mama the goods. B+
