Details Lead Performance: Go West

The buffed and burnished voice of Peter Cox, half of the Go West British duo, has some character, but too many woozy saxophone interludes and cheesy synth blasts cancel it out. Indian Summer is overslick, faceless soul, its sound stretched taut — more proof that liposuction never improves R&B, since it's the love handles that make it work. C-
