Patti LaBelle has toned down her unforgettable pompadours since the mid-'80s, but her vocal acrobatics and onstage histrionics are still largely intact. Live! captures the diva taking a delirious Apollo Theatre audience from pop-gospel rapture to gutbucket laughter. B+
