Guns don't kill people; really weird things kill people, at least in the movies in 1992. Annabella Sciorra favored the old sharpened-stake trick for nasty nanny Rebecca De Mornay, who falls onto a handy picket fence in The Hand That Rocks the Cradle but only after De Mornay illustrates why nosy best friends shouldn't walk into glass houses. Jennifer Jason Leigh dug in her heels in Single White Female, while Sharon Stone picked her victims with icy precision in Basic Instinct. Hurons hurled lethal tomahawks in The Last of the Mohicans. Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman clawed her way to the top (while cracking a wicked bullwhip). And Macaulay Culkin got back at Home Alone 2 bandits Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern in a complicated commando attack involving beads, bricks, gasoline, paint cans, high-voltage wires, metal pipes, kerosene-soaked rope, and other child-from-hell's play.
