Drug culture jargon routinely shows up in everyday speech (''junk-food junkie,'' rappers named Ice), and now the process has been reversed: Movies are a new source of drug lingo. According to a list compiled by a New York State agency, drug slang sounds a lot like a roster of action-adventure hits at the local video store:
Heroin: Beetlejuice, Excalibur, Obsession, Big Red, Above the Law, Halloween, Body Heat, Public Enemy
Cocaine: White Lightning, Less Than Zero, Scarface
Crack: Rocky III
LSD: Batman, E.T.
Angel Dust: Death Wish, Sudden Impact
