For a little bit of hoop heaven — and possibly the best college basketball games this side of the Final Four — catch the country's top two teams and its brightest dunking star as they headline CBS' Feb. 10 doubleheader.
UNLV at Arkansas
With 64 schools qualifying for the March NCAA tournament, it can sometimes be tough for teams to get pumped during the regular season. Not the case here, however: Coach Jerry Tarkanian's Runnin' Rebels are currently the No. 1 team in the nation (also the defending NCAA champions). They'll meet the second-ranked Razorbacks in Fayette-ville's Barnhill Arena, where Arkansas coach Nolan Richardson promises visiting teams ''40 minutes of hell.''
LSU at Duke
He's 7'1'', weighs 295 pounds, and won't be 19 until March. He's Shaquille O'Neal, and in a single month he has been on the covers of Sports Illustrated, The National, and ESPN's Sports Guide. In late January, the LSU center was averaging 27.6 points, 15 rebounds (more than anyone in college ball), and 5.5 blocked shots per game. He has received high praise from coaches, teammates, and some none-too-shabby centers of basketball past: Bill Walton and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. His favorite nickname is the ''Real Deal,'' but he's also known as the ''Love Shack'' and has dubbed his post-slam dance the ''Shaq-de-Shaq.'' There will be nine other players on the floor when the LSU Tigers visit the Blue Devils in Durham, N.C., but there's little doubt about who'll be the center of attention.
