Time stands still: Sylvester Stallone's new Touchstone comedy, Oscar, may only be able to reach No. 1 in a very slow week, but that's not the reason for a clock featuring so prominently in the movie's ads. The promotional poster (above, left), which was designed to hint at the race-against-a- deadline plot of the film, is simply a direct steal from the timeless image of silent- film giant Harold Lloyd in 1923's hilarious Safety Last.
