Details Lead Performance: The Normaltown Flyers; Genre: Country

The Georgia-based Normaltown Flyers call their brand of red-dirt country-rock ''Pickup Truck Rock 'n' Roll,'' a moniker that conjures up hopes of a '90s version of the Allman or Doobie Brothers. But alas, their first major-label album, The Normaltown Flyers, proves them to be a basic four-chord bar band, with only one song, ''Rockin' the Love Boat,'' bailing out their routine repertoire, colorless vocals, and rudimentary playing.
