Details Rated: PG-13; Length: 108 minutes; Genres: Comedy, Sports; With: Scott Bakula and Hector Elizondo; Distributor: Paramount Home Video

Don't avoid this sports comedy because its title and ad campaign make it look like a loutish, rough-and-tumble jamboree, an obnoxious exercise in Football As Attitude. Avoid it because it's the sort of soporific cliché-fest in which every player — from the straitlaced quarterback to the Zen crazy who ''blocks'' by administering martial-arts kicks — gets exactly one measly trait, and the suspense about who's going to win the big game registers at absolute zero.
