Movie: Throw Momma From the Train
Danny DeVito's 1987 comedy about a son's ceaselessly incompetent
attempts to deep-six his mom doesn't live up to its title (what
could?), but Anne Ramsey's cartoon-creepy performance as the mother
from another planet provides a few great shock-laughs. CBS (9-11

Corporate warfare at DAA fuels the first half of a two-part season
finale in which Elliot faces the grim consequences of his first
directing job, the ad agency itself is in jeopardy, and Michael is

Movie: Wall Street
Platoon vets Charlie Sheen and Oliver Stone are reunited for a
driving drama about New York's financial combat zone, but the film
belongs to Michael Douglas, whose star turn as a slicked-back

The Test of Time: From HIV to AIDS
L.A. Law's Corbin Bernsen is the host of a portrait of people who
tested HIV-positive and must cope with the possibility of developing

Sherlock Holmes (Edward Woodward) matches wits with Professor

Falcon Crest
Nine years of vineyard venality come to an end with Angela back in
control, Lauren and Richard heading for the altar, and the rest of
the ensemble trying to live happily ever after before the curtain

Twin Peaks
Long-buried secrets and amateur detectives fill the hour: Donna,
James, and Madeleine put themselves in danger with a plan to ensnare
Laura's killer, while Audrey's search for clues leads her to One-Eyed
Jack's, and Catherine has an unnerving meeting with an insurance

Knots Landing
On the edge in this season's cliff-hanger: Karen, who's still
being troubled by that pesky psychotic stalker, and Paige and Tom,

A stunning announcement from Becker and a death-penalty case in
which Sifuentes fights to save a childhood friend from the gas
