Now that the studios have finally gotten around to releasing some movies for grown-ups, it looks like the early summer action flicks are taking a back seat at the box office. Based on the popular 1987 Scott Turow novel, Presumed Innocent performed impressively in its opening weekend, pulling in nearly $12 million and edging out the popular Ghost for the top spot. Future trend alert: Judging by overwhelming audiences response to the supernatural love story Ghost-and earlier in the year to Pretty Woman's retold Cinderella tale-expect to see the studios grinding out tons of romances in the next year. Meanwhile, with $99 million already stashed away, Dick Tracy will be the summer's second movie, after Total Recall, to pass the $100 million mark.
