Just as news of their secret separation surfaced, Valerie Bertinelli and Eddie Van Halen purchased another home not far from their longtime roost in Studio City. While the estranged couple is mum on who will live in the new pad, Van Halen is reportedly still residing in their home of nine years, while Bertinelli and their son, Wolfgang, 11, have moved out. The newly acquired abode, built in 1948, is gated and sits on nearly an acre, with sweeping views of the Valley. The remodeled, one-story spread has a gourmet kitchen and 16-foot ceilings.
