''This big dog will fight when you rattle his cage,'' Toby Keith sings in his jingoistic ''Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American).'' But elsewhere, the CMA's current Best Male Vocalist is more bark than bite. ''Beer for My Horses,'' an ode to cowboy justice sung with Willie Nelson, is more about drinking than saddling up. What this needs is a shot of Keith's humor, largely MIA here.
