SEDUCED: PRETTY WHEN YOU CRY (2002)

Billed as ''Britain's version of Angelina Jolie,'' Carlton Elizabeth does have preternaturally puffed lips and breasts, but that's as deep as the comparison -- and director Jack Green's kinky thriller -- goes. Detective Lukas Black (a sadly moustacheless Elliott) struggles to figure out who killed an abusive, irredeemable greaseball (Michael Cavalieri): his blank-eyed sexpot wife (Elizabeth) or her nebbishy, wide-eyed boy-toy (Kennedy...why, Jamie, why?). But the real struggle turns out to be trying to follow uneven characters whose sole purpose is to set up the almost-clever gotcha! ending.
