Gentle jazzy arrangements, pure lyrical emotion, some of the 20th century's best pop songs...what could be bad? Not a thing, if Williams' loose, loopy voice beguiles rather than bugs you. She's like a cross between Jewel and Alfalfa: soft and sweet yet sorta squeaky. Not your bag? Try taking Williams on the merits of originality and her good taste in old tunes, even if your grandmother's screen door technically sounds better.
