CARRIE BROWNSTEIN

[BOX]

CARRIE BROWNSTEIN ''I reread Virginia Woolf's Three Guineas, which she wrote just before WWII. A lot of this album was written from a place of hopelessness during a pretty bleak time.''

JANET WEISS ''Another inspiration was bands who stuck around to make six records.''

CORIN TUCKER (pictured) ''Specifically the Clash, with their outspoken lyrics and musical exploration. Our song 'Combat Rock' is an homage to them. Their path was really adventurous and abnormal.''
