The pop star and spokesgirl of confident virginal virtue plays a docile Georgia high school valedictorian who takes a ''wild'' road trip to L.A. with her two best childhood friends and a hunky guitar-playing young man (Anson Mount). Members of the Society for the Preservation of Virginal Role Models should note that he inspires her to relinquish her tiara as princess of purity. B+
