Natasha Lyonne may have spent a little too much time at the bar before her DUI bust last August, but she won't be spending any time behind bars. The Associated Press reports that her attorney reached a plea agreement with a Miami judge on Monday in which the 23-year-old ''American Pie'' actress will be put on probation for six months, have her license suspended for that same period, pay $1,000 in fines and court fees, perform 50 hours of community service, and take part in a victim's panel organized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
Last summer, in a 2 a.m. accident, a speeding Lyonne ran her rented Dodge onto a Miami Beach sidewalk, hitting a sign and a bush outside the Fountainebleau Hotel and causing $2,500 in damages. No one was hurt in the single-car crash. Lyonne fled the scene, but an officer who witnessed the accident tracked her down. At the time of her arrest, the actress reportedly said, ''I'm a movie star. Can I talk to my entertainment lawyer?'' Her passenger was ''Saving Private Ryan'' costar Adam Goldberg, who reportedly told police he'd tried to stop Lyonne, but ''I just didn't know how. I didn't know whether to grab the emergency brake or what.''
Lyonne will next be seen opposite ex-boyfriend Edward Furlong (her ''Detroit Rock City'' costar) in ''Max and Grace,'' a story of two mental patients in love. No word on whether she'll be rejoining Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, and Seann William Scott in ''American Pie 3,'' due to start filming this winter.
