Eminem's ''The Eminem Show'' and Nelly's ''Nellyville'' have been battling all summer for chart dominance; for 10 out of the last 14 weeks, one of those two albums has topped the Billboard album chart. Last week, it was Nelly's turn; this week, it was Slim Shady's, as ''The Eminem Show'' outsold ''Nellyville,'' 172,250 copies to 162,400 copies, according to SoundScan.

Reaching its highest chart position yet, Avril Lavigne's ''Let Go'' climbed to No. 3 on sales of 128,150. Climbing to No. 4 was ''Lord Willin','' by rap duo the Clipse, which shifted 122,125 units. Bruce Springsteen's ''The Rising'' held onto a top five slot with sales of 117,175.

At No. 6, down two spots from last week's debut, was James Taylor's ''October Road.'' Compilation ''NOW That's What I Call Music! Vol. 10'' slipped one place to No. 7. Linkin Park's ''Reanimation'' held at No. 8. Toby Keith's ''Unleashed'' dropped two spaces to No. 9. And chanteuse Norah Jones' ''Come Away With Me,'' which has been building steam slowly but steadily since its release six months ago, cracked the top 10 at No. 10.
