--
Over nine years and four recordings, Willis' warm, butterscotch voice has put its delectable stamp on everything from mainstream country ballads to frisky roots-rockers. On the mostly acoustic Easy, she gives a rollicking bluegrass reading of Paul Kelly's ''You Can't Take It With You'' and a honky-tonk slant on Marcia Ball's ''Find Another Fool.'' Willis' own title track (one of six here she wrote or cowrote) pierces the heart, with a mourn-ful fiddle adding even more poignancy to her vulnerable croon.
