Dixiana suggests by its name that it might plow the same Southern soil as Shenandoah, but it might as well call itself New Jerseyana for all the generic country-pop of Dixiana, its self-titled debut. The band's strong suit is lead singer Cindy Murphy, a throaty sob sister (''Are You Over Her'') who turns saucy on ''That's What I'm Working On Tonight,'' an in-your-face song of survival. C-
