Q. This might be stupid, but do you play hockey? -- Sarah Pepper, Hazlet, NJ

A. Not anymore because I'm on the road, but I did play when I lived at home [in Napanee, Ont.]. I was right wing and sometimes center. I got MVP for two years in a row. One time I beat up a goalie. My dad has that on video. The guy took his glove and smacked me, and I was like, ''Whoa!'' I pushed him into the net, he punched me, I punched him. It was awesome.

Q. What is the most dangerous thing you have ever done? -- Kirsten P., Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.

A. Me and a friend went to a really high bridge and decided to jump off. We had no idea if there were rocks on the bottom or how deep it was. It was really far. We were like, ''Let's just do it!'' We jumped. I screamed and when I hit the water I was like, ''I'm alive!''

Q. What's your reaction to people telling you, ''You aren't a punk''? -- Liv, Adelaide, South Australia

A. I know I'm not a punk. You'd never see anyone who's hardcore punk on MTV. They're against all that stuff. No one actually comes up to me and says, ''You're not punk!'' But if they did, I'd be like, ''I never f---ing said I was!''
