Her recent reported fees ($10 million to reprise her role as Princess Fiona in ''Shrek 2,'' $15 million for her turn in last spring's comedy ''The Sweetest Thing,'' and $20 million for ''Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle'') place her in the upper echelon of current actors. She also beat out a bevy of serious actresses for a much-coveted role in Martin Scorsese's epic ''Gangs of New York.'' But ''Sweetest Thing'' lacked bite at the box office, and early Oscar buzz on ''Gangs'' is focused on costar Daniel Day-Lewis.
