WHY THEM Like a bat outta hell, Ozzy, his iron-manager missus, and their brood swooped down on MTV and delivered the highest ratings for a series in the net's history with their bizarro reality hit. Business-savvy Sharon then brokered a deal with MTV for an estimated $5-10 mil, with additional revenue from books and merchandise deals. Even during cancer treatment this summer, the metal matriarch was at work, pushing Ozzy to finish his seventh year headlining Ozzfest, which grossed about $25 million. While Sharon may not get enough of kids Jack and Kelly, oversaturation risks sapping audience interest. But the only REAL criticism of the clan is that their show inspired Anna Nicole Smith.
