A
Before there was Bill & Ted or Wayne & Garth, there was Bob & Doug -- the original dim-witted duo. The McKenzie brothers (born out of an SCTV skit) gave us more than jokes about beer and back bacon...well, okay, maybe not, but they were funny jokes about beer and back bacon. Strange Brew (a thinly disguised Hamlet in which the hosers score jobs at the crooked Elsinore Brewery) remains their crowning achievement: a landmark film in the realm of truly inspired stupidity. It's a beauty way to go, eh?
