Q In Mark Wahlberg's Truth About Charlie, a Peter Joshua is among the four writers credited. That was one of Cary Grant's aliases in 1963's Charade (inset), on which Charlie is based. What's in a name?
A Joshua is a pseudonym for Peter Stone, who scripted Charade. Charlie director Jonathan Demme says Stone, noted in the credits for penning the original, was ''too modest'' for double billing. But sources close to the production say the scribe never supported the remake and attached a pen name only to preserve his royalty rights. Stone wouldn't comment. Like the films' twisty plots, the truth about Joshua depends upon whom you ask. -- Suzanne Ely
