It may seem greedy to release a hits package culled from a period that includes only four official albums, but U2 issued enough alternative material in the '90s to make this two-CD set worth considering. It features half a dozen B sides that never made a U2 album, some remixes, and some soundtrack ditties, plus two entirely fresh songs, including the pretty ''Electrical Storm.'' It's not essential listening, but neither is it just a way to milk the catalog for Christmas.
