Wedding Planners?

Ben Affleck, 30, reportedly is betrothed to ''Jersey Girl'' and ''Gigli'' costar Jennifer Lopez, 32, though reps for Affleck didn't return calls and Lopez's reps declined to comment. According to Cindy Adams' gossip column in the Nov. 5 issue of the New York Post, Lopez plans to announce the A-list engagement during an interview on an upcoming episode of ABC's ''Primetime.''

It would be the first marriage for Affleck, the third for Lopez. J. Lo's first marriage, to model/restaurateur Ojani Noa, dissolved in 1998, and she filed for divorce from choreographer Cris Judd in July after some 10 months of marriage. Soon afterwards, Affleck and Lopez were whipping up a tabloid frenzy with their on-set romance, even igniting a reported bidding war between People and Us magazines for a paparazzi pic of them smooching. Of late, Lopez has been sparking engagement rumors with the pink diamond ring -- reportedly a gift from Affleck -- she's taken to wearing on the third finger of her left hand.

Here's what I've got ... one little glich is that the Cindy Adams piece doesn't specify when this Primetime is supposed to air (and since we didn't mention it in Monitor, I didn't check on it). Primetime airs on Thursdays, so one would expect it to appear this Thursday ... but obviously I don't know for sure. So I'll leave that wording to your judgement ... Wedding planners?
