One of the '80s' most consistently interesting bands, the David Lowery-led collective ping-ponged between experimental roots music and slightly skewed alt-rock. This five-disc set compiles their three out-of-print indie albums (they went on to record two more for Virgin), plus a previously unreleased live CD and the Camper Vantiquities rarities comp, which includes the excellent Vampire Can Mating Oven EP.
