'8 MILE' HIGH

Technically, the 8 Mile soundtrack isn't an Eminem album, since Slim Shady appears on only four songs. But rest assured, it wasn't tracks by Obie Trice and 50 Cent that sent 702,000 hip-hop heads to record stores this week, giving the disc a No. 1 debut. The compilation finished miles ahead of Christina Aguilera's Stripped, which pulled in 330,000 ''Dirrty''-minded fans, and Nirvana's hits collection, which lured 234,000 '90s nostalgia hounds. New albums from country's not-so-little Rascal Flatts and Tori ''Scarlet'' Amos also finished in the top 10, while Bone Thugs -N- Harmony and Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz showed up to represent Nos. 12 and 15, respectively.
