B-
Even the most seething monster-rock bands have a sensitive side. Mudvayne get in touch with theirs on this second CD. Amid the belching and yowling, they mewl and even croon! It's a striking contrast to their creature-from-the-black-lagoon costumes and gothic, umlaut-strewn pseudonyms (Spug, Guug). The newly user-friendly music means someone other than 12-year-old boys might actually listen to them.
