With Hornet Flight, his third World War II-themed thriller in as many years, Ken Follett has apparently decided to stick with a winning formula. ''Hornet'' follows Harald Olufsen, an 18-year-old Dane who joins the Resistance after stumbling upon the top-secret location of the Nazis' radar system. The adventure teems with striking characters, including Winston Churchill in a memorable cameo. And as always, Follett's women -- among them intelligence analyst Hermia Mount and cop Tilde Jespersen -- come off as admirably tough-minded. The novelist's serviceable prose won't win him any prizes, but ''Hornet'' zips along to an exhilarating climax.
