Lilo & Stitch (2002)

Details Release Date: Dec 03, 2002; Movie Rated: PG; Genres: Animation, Kids and Family; With: Tia Carrere, Daveigh Chase and Chris Sanders; Distributor: Buena Vista Pictures

In the darkest regions of the distant Planet Turo, a meddling scientist has created the ultimate weapon, a creature whose sole purpose is ''to destroy.'' But when said creature (who's also irresistibly cute) escapes to Earth, he's taken for a dog, adopted by a spunky Hawaiian girl named Lilo, and dubbed Stitch. Somehow, though, we can't feel the love. Without the heart of other hand-drawn Disney wonders or the pizzazz of Pixar's CGI treats, Lilo & Stitch is just a mild diversion for tykes -- especially those with an unlikely appreciation for all things Elvis.
