James Gandolfini finalizes divorce. The ''Sopranos'' star and his wife say their marriage ended amicably

Carmela and Tony haven't settled their differences yet. But James Gandolfini and his wife Marcella have finalized their divorce without resorting to a trial, according to the Associated Press. Justice Judith Gische told the court that she granted the divorce in Marcella's favor, though terms of the settlement were not disclosed, AP reported. ''It's over,'' Gandolfini told reporters after the Wednesday hearing. ''Everyone loves each other very much.''

Gandolfini has a 3-year-old son with Marcella, from whom he filed for divorce in March. The grounds for the divorce were not revealed, according to AP. But Gandolfini's lawyer, Robert Stephen Cohen, told the wire service that the parting was ''one of the friendliest'' he'd ever seen, and that it was completed in ''almost record time.''
