Move over, Mickey -- Kermit, Miss Piggy and even the Swedish Chef may be heading for your turf. Walt Disney Co. is planning to offer a $135 million bid for Muppet masterminds Jim Henson Co., according to Reuters. There are at least four other bidders for Henson, but Disney's deep pockets mean that it would almost certainly win, the wire service reported.

Disney has some existing partnership deals with Henson (there's already a Muppet attraction at Disney World, for instance) that date back to 1990, when they were previously on the verge of buying the company. But Disney pulled out of the deal when founder Jim Henson died, according to Reuters. Henson was said to have been thrilled at the prospect of becoming part of the Disney family. Miss Piggy's feelings on the matter, however, remain unknown.
