Like I Love You (Basement Jaxx Mixes)

EW's GRADE
B

Details Lead Performance: Justin Timberlake

On ''Justified,'' this Neptunes-produced track, Like I Love You (Basement Jaxx Mixes) couldn't be simpler: an acoustic guitar, live-sounding drums, some swooshing synth noises. Remixed here by British electronic-music whizzes Basement Jaxx, it's sped up and filled out with a hard drive's worth of beats and effects. Too bad it's not as inventive as the duo's work on its own albums, although the ''acid dub'' B side -- which nixes Timberlake almost entirely -- comes close.
