Return of the Super Ape (2003)

Recorded in 1978 and released two years later, Return is a solid sequel to 1976's dub classic Super Ape, even though it doesn't sound much like its predecessor. Most notably, there's a much greater emphasis on vocals (including an uncredited semicover of Rufus' ''Tell Me Something Good''), with only a couple of proper dub tracks. It's a little unclear what makes this bonus-track-free reissue a ''deluxe edition,'' but Return is still worth going back to.
