Are fans frightened to approach you?
P.J.J. They are hesitant at first, but then they'll see me smile and go, ''Oh, she's not that person, she actually smiles.'' It's the highest compliment, but I feel like I'm constantly defending myself, saying, ''Hey, that's not me!''
L.H. A lot of employees at the Whole Foods market say, ''I can't believe you killed your fiancé!'' when they're handing me my deli meats. Or, ''I knew it was you! You looked evil from the beginning!''

What do you do to get into character?
P.J.J. I put on my maternal instinct. I'm a mother and a wife in real life, and I just ask myself, ''What would I do to keep my family together?'' And I would do almost anything, because my family is so important to me. But if they ever did dolls of these characters, I think my sound bite would be ''Ladies, don't try this at home.''
L.H. I listen to Eminem. I know that sounds so preposterous, but I'm dead serious. It's really hard for me not to go to a dark place listening to the ''8 Mile'' soundtrack and ''The Eminem Show.'' It keeps me focused. I wear headphones on the set, and the AD is always hand-signaling me because I can't hear him.

At what point do you get sick of the outfit? Wearing the same clothes for months must help you get in touch with your inner bitch.
P.J.J. I have about five versions of my costume, but last year, I was more sick of wearing the outfit. This year, the fabric, the way it feels, makes me feel like I'm putting on part of the skin of the character. We gave Sherry straighter hair this year and a more youthful look, as if to say ''Hey, buddy, look what you walked away from!'' I'd love to put on a little slinky number, though, so I could definitely get my man back.
L.H. I was lucky because I got costume changes. People were coming up to me saying, ''Oh, you're so lucky you get to change!'' Plus I got an amazing wedding gown. I couldn't breathe in that thing because it was corseted, but it was stunning.

Since Jack is always interfering with everyone's nefarious goals, what would your character do if locked in a room alone with him, no rules, anything goes?
P.J.J. She would probably have a conversation and find out they're of like minds. She has the guts to do what it takes, and so does he. They're both no-nonsense, and have zero tolerance for ignorance and people who can't just join their team and go for it.
L.H. In a room with Jack, with no witnesses? I'd try to make out with him. He's so hot!
