'GIRL' POWERLESS The reality market may finally be saturated, as the nation's viewers spurned the debut of ABC's All American Girl (75th). Despite the ''star'' quality of ex-Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, the not-just-a-beauty-pageant became TV's latest unscripted flop, joining ABC's The Family (81st) and Are You Hot? (which tied Fox's failing Married by America for 70th). But reality isn't entirely dead: Longer-running contenders in the genre continue to flourish, as Fox's American Idol soared to 2nd with a live two-hour singathon, CBS' Survivor (3rd) showed its Amazonian strength, and NBC's Fear Factor (8th) drew its biggest crowd ever with a Las Vegas special. Idol's Wednesday results show (8th) is having a halo effect on the sitcoms that surround it, That '70s Show (28th) and The Bernie Mac Show (32nd) -- but not on Bernie's lead-out, Cedric the Entertainer Presents (51st). Unlike reality, variety is dead.
