Gabrielle Union plays a Taming of the Shrew-ish piece of work who meets her match in LL Cool J as a gentleman strong enough to wrestle her into releasing her hidden gentleness. Then other, unremarkable sitcom problems arise in this very tame African-American comedy, which is much ado about zilch. (For those who catalog such scenes, much female bonding occurs in a beauty salon where Eva and her sisters high-five and mmm-hmmm each other.)
