The gene pool gave Taylor the timbre of daddy James and the lilt of mommy Carly (both contribute vocals). But it's Ben's own hubris that led him to put his doggerel in the liner notes as though it were poetry. When your best song is the CD's only cover (the Zombies' ''Time of the Season''), maybe you shouldn't be writing or cowriting everything else.
