This party song, ''When I See You'', pumps along to a beat so heavy and obvious, it's almost didactic. But wahwah guitar action, a sublimely smooth bridge that lends a bit of lift, and Gray's shaggy ''Mothership''-mama delivery add up to a boisterous chunk of funk.
