B
The melodies and melodrama trickle down with equal measure on this acoustic duo's second album, a narcotizing collection of planetarium-ready space folk. Lyrically, Ether Song is a touch repetitive -- sure, the weather in England is lousy, but do we really need so much rain imagery? -- but that's quickly forgiven, thanks to beautifully grandiose numbers like ''Pain Killer'' and ''Long Distance.''
