GIRLS' NIGHT OUT It was just as well that Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston didn't bring their famous spouses to the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday. Despite nominations for the whole cast as Outstanding TV Comedy Ensemble and for Aniston and LeBlanc as Outstanding Actress and Actor in a TV Comedy, they all went home empty-handed. This after an awards season that began with September's Emmys and saw numerous kudos for the gang, especially Aniston. Still, it wasn't just the SAGs with whom the honeymoon seemed over. Asked why their husbands weren't along to provide moral support, Aniston told TV's ''Extra,'' ''They got the day off.'' But Aniston's wedding ring also got the day off. Trouble in paradise? Apparently not; Brad Pitt is reportedly in England rehearsing for his starring role in the epic ''Troy,'' and Aniston is scheduled to join him there once the ''Friends'' season wraps in April.

'FRIENDS' AND NEIGHBORS More trouble for the Pitts, according to the tabloid story of the week. This one has the couple's Beverly Hills neighbors complaining at a recent city council meeting that Jen and Brad's home renovations, which have dragged on for 18 months and involve two dozen workers, have caused noise problems and parking shortages. After the Feb. 27 hearing, the council ordered the couple to tell their contractors to leave the trucks at the shop and shuttle the workers in. Maybe Aniston should seek advice on how to redo her home more efficiently from refurbishing maven Cox.
